Extension with Discreet Entertainment Solution

A local builder, in the process of expanding his home, wanted a high-quality TV and audio system for a newly built entertaining space. However, he was keen to ensure the TV didn't dominate the room's aesthetics. He envisioned a setup that blended seamlessly into the environment while offering premium entertainment features.

The client’s key requirements included:

• A discreet TV setup that wouldn’t visually overpower the room.
• High-quality audio for immersive sound.
• The ability to view the screen from either end of the room without compromising functionality.
• Simple, seamless control, ensuring easy operation without extra remotes or complicated interfaces.
• A clean, integrated design with hidden wiring and effortless usability.

To achieve this, we introduced the Art TV solution, which hides the television behind a retractable canvas artwork when not in use. The execution involved:

• Installing a high-quality TV mounted on a pull-out cantilever support, allowing effortless repositioning.
• Concealing all wiring during construction, ensuring a sleek, uncluttered look.
• Specifying two pairs of premium in-ceiling loudspeakers, delivering outstanding sound coverage.
• Integrating a Bluesound streaming amplifier, offering superior audio performance and easy control.
• Ensuring the TV remote seamlessly adjusted the speaker volume, eliminating the need for extra handsets.

The result was a stunning, versatile space, offering both aesthetic elegance and functional brilliance. The hidden TV became a talking point at gatherings, impressing guests when it smoothly revealed itself from behind the artwork. The adjustable viewing position ensured practicality, while the immersive audio enhanced entertainment—whether for parties, sports events, or movie nights.

"People can't believe they didn't notice anything before! Being able to position it to the seating or table is really helpful and practical, and the sound fills the room brilliantly for parties and sports events on the TV."

This project exemplifies how smart design and technical expertise can transform a standard entertainment setup into something truly exceptional.
